Jennifer is Off to Work

Jennifer finally got her papers turned in to McDonalds. The manager told her to go ahead and come to work tonight. She is excited (to make money) but not too thrilled with her duds.

A New Granddaughter

Philip and Misti had their baby today. Temperance Rubylee Miller born 12:01, 9lb. 2oz.and 20 1/2 inches long. She has lots of hair and a double chin!

Father's Day 2011

On Father's Day, Amber came over and cooked a fantastic meal. Chris and Philip labored hard and worked some magic on the porch. Meanwhile, Misti was putting the final touches on Temperance-in-the-oven.


When we were at church, Chris and Philip dug and set concrete blocks.



In the kitchen, Amber had already made banana pudding and was getting ready to cook pork chops and make gravy. She enlisted Jenny's help, since Mike is her dad, too. Of course, Evelynne wanted mom because she was tired and really wanted to nap in her own bed. Jenny, under the direction of Amber, cooked the pork chops and then Amber made the gravy. They combined these in a casserole. Meanwhile, Amber had cooked rice, and they heated up corn and peas. Finally they heated up some garlic bread and we sat down to eat. The food was wonderful! I tried to video around the table but must have hit the wrong button. At least I got some stills.

Library Display

We got the display case in the library filled. Here are videos of the final product.

Doll Display at the Library

My friend, Delia, and I were doing one of the display cases at the library near her house. We first set up the display at her house, on the table, to figure where we wanted to put things. We actually made a few changes in the final display and are actually going to add another doll and a wagon on toys, tomorrow. We figured we wanted to set up most of the display and then add finishing touches the next day. Here is a video of her table full of dolly stuff.

Mother's Day Flowers

I got some beautiful flowers for Mother's Day/Teacher Appreciation. Thanks you, Paul, Elizabeth, Natalie, and Gracie.

Spring Choir Concert

Jennifer's spring concert was on Friday night. On Sunday, Ms. Barbara makes them sing again at the Catholic Church in D.S. because the sound is so much better. She records these concerts and uses them to make the choir cd recordings.

PomPom Zombies

Jennifer was in her high school play April 27-29. She played the lead cheerleader/zombie. The plot was silly with nerds, bikers, and Russian villians AND it was a musical. Chris showed up on the last night so the two of them horsed around for the camera.

Prom 2011

Well, after a long, bumpy road, Jennifer made it to the prom. She looked beautiful. Here are some pictures taken while getting ready.

Here she is after her friend Michelle's mom put on her makeup. She had had her nails and hair fixed earlier in the day. On the previous day she had a spray on tan which she won in a raffle a few weeks back.


After she got dressed, we took pictures in the living room at Michelle's. I think her eyes looked so blue. They stood out on her face. This is her "dear in the headlights" picture.

Time Has Flown

I am only about 6 months behind. UGH! Here is a poor video of Jenny in the fashion show. She did not wear the dress she was suppose to because the girls from the store did not bring it. She was happy to wear the one they did bring. Later she found out the dress was about $500.
