Sunday morning Jennifer went to New Orleans with her choir. They were singing at the opening of the Keller Williams Convention. Their main offices are located in Canada and the U.S. so the choir sang both anthems. Personally I think the microphones were a bit off. You couldn't hear the altos very well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Christopher
I found out this morning that Amber and Chris got Evelynne's ears pierced yesterday. I figured I would have to get some pictures of the "new" Evelynne and at least one birthday picture of Chris.

How can you not love her hair. She has such a wad on top that she can wear a ponytail. I'm guessing her hair was up overnight and the results are what you see. Can' get much more adorable!

Then, of course, there is the birthday boy. He has always loved taking a "good" picture. Chris was in the process of trying to make pancakes.

Philip and Misti Tie the Knot
Last night Philip and Misti got married at the Justice of the Peace in Watson. Her mom, dad, and grandmother came. She also had her daughter, a niece, and two friends come. Paul and his family, Chris and his family, Mike, Jenny, and I were there. One friend of Phil's, Shawn Biglane, came and signed as a witness. He and Phil have been friends since early High School. Afterwards we went to DeAngelos in Denham to eat.
First there are a bunch of pictures.
Amber and Evelynne couldn't stay. Evelynne was way too tired. This is Abby and Chris playing with a straw.

This is the rest.
So I guess it is official. Four down and one to go.

Cleanup time. Philip had a hard time with his facial hair not wanting to give up the icing.
Now for the videos. The first one was me just panning the room before things started.

Second Snow of the Year!
On February 12 we had more snow. School was canceled for the day because the prediction was for snow and sleet. The school board didn't want the buses out on slick streets. Actually the city was asking for people to stay off the streets. When I woke up at 6:00 it was still raining. The rain had started on Thursday afternoon. It was not a hard rain but slow and steady. Since school was canceled I went back to bed. When I got up at 8:00 there was snow on the ground. Needless to say I was surprised. It snowed for quite a while but, since it was so wet outside, it didn't take too long for the snow to melt when it stopped snowing.

Newest Project
I combined two patterns. The petals came from another pattern I had for a larger doll. I re-sized them for this 7 inch doll. Not thrilled with the color combination but after all the work of turning the petals right side out I figured I would finish the outfit anyway. It still took 3 tries because of the way the petals hung. I ended up having to shorten them a bit.

Football Is Not One Of My Interests.......
But Elizabeth enjoys watching. She had asked me a week ago if I could do some shirts for the girls. I finally got the shirts today. My friend, Sarah, from down the street stopped by on Saturday and asked if I could "make " a shirt for her. In 15 min. we had a finished shirt. In the process I did learn to be a bit more careful in centering the design. Today I finally "did" the shirts for Elizabeth. I ended up adding some bling to them for her.

Jenny's Gifted Show
This year for gifted music the teacher decided to do a show of sorts. It lasted almost 2 hours with many numbers. The students sang alone, in pairs, in groups, and as a whole. Jenny sang with 2 other girls and they sang Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Route 66. Of course I hit the "close the camera" button in between rather that the "pause" so there is a bit missing from the beginning of Route 66. She did have a short solo. It is embedded within the Hippie songs. It is about at the 2:43 mark.
