These two pictures I added show a typical Jenny...mouth open. She and he father were having an interesting "conversation" a few nights ago. I just thought they were appropriate visuals for the subject of this blog.

Is that singing I hear?
Well I'm sure you all know how much Jennifer loves to sing. So, of course when we have a talent show at church Jennifer will volunteer to sing. She told me I had to record it for her so I did on the small camera. The sound is not the best and, since I turned the camera sideways, she is laying on her side. I didn't think she had that much talent! I put this video on YouTube along with some that I took earlier this year of Chris and Philip. They were in the Medieval play that the Livingston Parish Choir is using as a major fundraisier. I think Philip might even do it again next year. Again the quality is not so great but it is all I have a the moment. If you go to YouTube just type in pjrm001 in the search box and you will get the whole shebang.

The Party's Over....
We had a well attended shower for Amber. We were a bit surprised with the number of people that showed up. Just goes to show you what a "GREAT" daughter-in-law she is. We had the shower as DeAngelo's in Denham Springs. Elizabeth and I decided to go get the cake first and then set up. Thank goodness because Target had next Saturday down on the order. A friend of Amber's happened to be working in the bakery dept. so she told us she could have it done in about an hour. It looked great! Amber received a ton of gifts. She should be able to get by with only having to wash baby clothes every two weeks for quite a while.
This is a picture of the hamper that matches the baby bedding. Jennifer was a big help when we were setting up for the shower.
This is the diaper cake that Elizabeth made with a little help from Sara Banz and me.
If you didn't already know....It's a GIRL! And of course everyone needs a belly picture.
Last but not least....Amber's cousin's son is kissing the baby! And yes, she is wearing a white t-shirt under the red top.

It Is Almost Party Time!
We are getting ready for Amber's baby shower which is this Saturday. I wanted to try my hand at making footprint cookies. I can see that it takes lots of practice to be able to make them look somewhat the same. I also put together a clothesline with a few items for Amber. I hope she can put them to good use.
